About me

As Head of Data & AI at Grupo Águia Branca (GAB), one of Brazil’s largest transportation, logistics and automotive retail conglomerates, with over US$ 4.5bi in annual revenue and 22k+ employees, I lead the COE Data & AI, a team dedicated to turning data and AI into real business impact across many different Logistics and automotive Retail Business Units.

Over the past 15+ years, my career has taken me through some of Brazil’s largest organizations, including Petrobras, Transpetro, Via Varejo and GAB, always working with data and AI in complex, high-scale environments. At Via Varejo, I had the opportunity to lead an AI strategy front that gained C-level relevance and helped the data area move from delivering reports to recommending actions. Along the way, I also technically supported as Data Specialist a few US startups in mortgage, legal and healthcare in building their data strategies and products.

It’s been a privilege to be recognized among the **Top 10 AI Executives in Brazil** for two consecutive years (2025 and 2026). What drives me is bridging business and technology: translating complexity into decisions leaders can trust and teams can execute.

On the academic side, I’m pursuing a master’s in **Applied Systems for Engineering and Management** from the Instituto Federal Fluminense (IFF), with research applying HTR and LLMs to the interpretation of historical manuscripts.
